It's been another busy week for Chester FC 's National League rivals.

The comings and goings continue for club's in non-league football's top tier and we have the lowdown on what has been happening over the last seven days.

BARROW AFC

Bluebirds boss Paul Cox has swooped to sign two new faces ahead of their season opener on August 6.

Former Chesterfield striker Byron Harrison, 29, has joined the Holker Street outfit along with ex-Stenhousemuir midfielder Euan Murray, 22, who has been offered a deal following a successful trial.

BOREHAM WOOD

The Wood have added to their ranks with the signing of 22-year-old goalkeeper Grant Smith from Bognor Regis.

Smith, who has had spells with Brighton & Hove Albion, Reading and Fulham in his career, is expected to challenge for the number one spot at Meadow Park.

DAGENHAM & REDBRIDGE

The Daggers have signed highly-rated Brighton & Hove Albion teenager Jordan Maguire-Drew on loan until January 7.

The 18-year-old striker has yet to make a senior appearance for the Seagulls but did net eight goals in six games during a loan spell at Worthing last season.

FOREST GREEN ROVERS

Mark Cooper has added French flavour to his squad after securing the signature of former Bordeaux goalkeeper Simon Lefebvre.

The 6ft 8ins 19-year-old had not appeared for the Ligue 1 side in France but joins Rovers to provide competition for Jonny Maxted and Sam Russell.

NORTH FERRIBY UNITED

National League newcomers North Ferriby have secured the services of three new faces as they bid to bolster their squad ahead of their debut season in non-league football's top tier.

Former Blackpool midfielder Connor Oliver, 22, has signed along with ex-York City midfielder Taron Hare, 19, and former Lincoln City defender Jordan Cooke, also 19, who spent time at both Buxton and Worksop Town last season.

SOLIHULL MOORS

Former Aston Villa and QPR striker Stefan Moore, 32, has signed a new one-year deal with Moors.

Moore scored 12 times last season as Marcus Bignot's side won promotion from the National League North as champions and will lead the line once again.

Solihull have also added ex-Wolves academy prospect Charlie Morris, 18, to their ranks.

TORQUAY UNITED

The Gulls have added two new faces to their squad as the gear up for the new campaign.

The Plainmoor outfit have signed Gilbratar international goalkeeper Jamie Robba on a one-year deal following a successful trial and Exeter City striker Jamie Reid on a three-month loan.

Robba joins from French fourth tier side UC Le Pontet and has won seven caps for Gibraltar conceding 26 goals.

WREXHAM

Dragons boss Gary Mills is hopeful of adding two strikers to his squad by the end of the week.

Mills has signed a whopping 14 players this summer at the Racecourse but is keen to add further firepower to his squad.

Mills' decision to dip into the market for strikers comes after new signing Jordan White was ruled out for two months with a 'blood problem'.

YORK CITY

Minstermen boss Jackie McNamara has signed goalkeeper Luke Simpson on a two-year deal following his release from Watford.

The 21-year-old had previously been at Accrington, playing in eight League Two games before leaving in January 2015.

The club have also signed former defender Lanre Oyebanjo on a one-year deal following his departure from League Two side Crawley Town.
