A SCHOOL football team will be seen as players to watch - after sponsorship from a firm of opticians.
Weston Primary have won the support of In Sight Opticians of The Heath Business Park in Runcorn.
The sponsor supplies glasses and safety glasses to companies across the UK and also carries out workplace eye tests.
Distinctive yellow kits now being worn by the team have been supplied through town-centre business Best Sports.
On Sight's Ivor Howells said: 'We are keen to emphasise our links with the local community since our move to The Heath and strive to bring in local people to our new factory shop.
'We provide wholesale prices on glasses for the general public as well as large companies.
'We hope to do more in the future to build links with the people of Halton.'
