NORWICH boss Chris Hughton was thankful for a nine-match unbeaten run between October and December which has kept the Canaries out of the bottom three, but admits his team have to regroup quickly.

“When you are in a run like this I think you appreciate more the good run we had and we are very grateful for that,” said Hughton, whose side’s good run started after another five-goal hammering by Liverpool in September.

“It is the first game for quite some time we have been well beaten and we need to address that. It is never nice when you get beat the way we did.

“I have a real good group of lads but we’ve under-achieved and under-performed and they will know that more than anyone.

“We are going to have bad days.

“What is important is we put this one well behind us.”
