Any team news?

Caretaker bosses Jon McCarthy and Ian Sharps will have to reshuffle their pack with a number of Blues players battling injuries.

Ross Hannah, who limped off in the 2-1 loss at Lincoln City on Saturday looks set to miss out with a hamstring injury, with James Alabi set to replace Chester's leading scorer.

Sam Hughes (concussion) is also set to miss out while Luke George (hamstring) is rated as doubtful and Ben Heneghan (knee) has a 50/50 chance of making the must-win clash with the Wings.

What has Jon McCarthy had to say about it?

The caretaker boss said: "Welling had the the win at Tranmere where they were able to build on the opposition having pressure and I suppose we have that from the different end of the table.

"I think the result at Kidderminster the other week was significant because they had a little bit of momentum and if they'd have beat then they would have been coming to Chester and might have thought 'hang on' but I think that knocked them significantly.

"They are where they are in the table and that's the bit that doesn't lie. Over the course of the season we have proven that we are better and we know what they can do because they evidenced it against Tranmere but we need to know where we're at and have some confidence about that."

Tell me about Welling United...

Rooted at the foot of the National League, any less than a win for the Wings at the Lookers Vauxhall Stadium on Saturday would see them relegated to the Vanarama National League South.

Dean Frost's Park View Road side have seen managerial changes and wholesale personnel changes this season which has resulted in a campaign of struggle for the Londoners.

A defeat to fellow relegation candidates Kidderminster Harriers at the weekend undid the hard work from the previous weekend where they claimed a shock 2-1 success at play-off chasing Tranmere Rovers and they are now eight points off safety with just three games remaining.

They have weapons in their arsenal to pose a threat, though, and pacy winger Kadell Daniel, who scored for Woking against the Blues earlier in the season, will be one to watch.
