Who's playing?

Chester FC v Guiseley.

When and where?

Tuesday, September 13 (7.45pm) at the Lookers Vauxhall Stadium.

Any team news?

Long-term absentee Ross Killock remains sidelined and midfielder Luke George is also a major doubt for the clash.

Evan Horwood missed the draw at Aldershot Town on Saturday with a broken nose and will also be assessed before being considered for selection.

Theo Vassell, Blaine Hudson and Elliott Durrell all picked up knocks at the weekend but the Blues are hopeful that the trio will be fit to face the Lions.

Tell me about Guiseley...

It has been a campaign of struggle so far for Guiseley and they sit rooted to the foot of the National League with just two points to their name.

Mark Bower paid the price for the club's poor start to the season and was sacked last month following five successive defeats.

Defender Adam Lockwood has taken over at the helm of the Yorkshire side and has helped Guiseley get their first points on the board with the club drawing their last two games.

They have added two players to their ranks in the past week with young Bradford City striker Reece Webb-Foster and Crawley Town midfielder Simon Walton both arriving at Nethermoor.

What has Jon McCarthy had to say about it?

On the injury situation ahead of the visit of Guiseley, McCarthy said: "They'll be things we have to deal with.

"I trust what I have got and we will write down on paper what we have got and try and plug the gaps in.

"I think maybe it isn't too bad. I would expect those players (who picked up knocks against Aldershot) to get back. We have some worries and some concerns, though. Full back has been a big blow for us and has been really frustrating for us and probably explains some of our defensive form."

What happened last time we met?

The Blues snatched a late point from a 3-3 draw at Nethermoor after a frenetic final 15 minutes in the Yorkshire rain in March.

Ross Hannah gave Chester the lead on 39 minutes before Emile Sinclair levelled matters with 15 minutes remaining.

Will Hatfield then handed the Lions the lead six minutes later but Kane Richards restored parity two minutes later.

Sinclair grabbed his second on 90 minutes but Tom Shaw prodded home deep into injury time to save a point for Chester.
