CHESTER FC have increased prices for next season – with the blessing of their supporters.

Blues bosses made the decision to raise season ticket and matchday admission prices following the results of a survey completed by more than 800 members of City Fans United.

Chester general manager Pat Cluskey said: “The recent Big City Census saw a majority of 10-1 in favour of a modest increase in admission prices to back our push for promotion, but we feel it important to maintain low levels for our younger supporters on whom the future of the club depends.

“In setting the season and ticket prices for next season we’ve tried to strike a balance between the current economic situation and the desire for Chester FC to progress through the football pyramid.”

Adult season tickets in the Harry McNally Terrace have gone up from £165 to £180 and from £180 to £216 in the Exacta and Centurion Community stands.

Season tickets have increased from £25 to £30 for juniors and from £50 to £75 for Blues fans aged 16-17. A junior season ticket plus a replica shirt costs £50.

Concessionary season ticket prices have also risen from £115 to £126 in the Harry Mac and from £130 to £144 in the Exacta and Centurion Community stands.

Season tickets go on sale on Tuesday, May 31 with existing season ticket holders having until June 30 to renew their seats.

Matchday prices remain the same for juniors (£3) and 16-17-year-olds (£5), but adults will pay £1 more to stand on the Harry Mac (£10) and £2 more to sit in the Exacta and Centurion Community stands (£12).

Concessions will pay £1 more for entry to the Harry Mac (£7) and Exacta and Centurion Community stands (£8).

Under 5s will once again get in for free accompanied by an adult.
