He becomes the second new face to check in to the Lookers Vauxhall Stadium after defender Alex Whitmore's arrival from Championship club Burnley.

Lloyd, from Biddulph in Staffordshire, has been with the Vale Park club since the age of eight and made his senior debut in April 2011.

He did not feature in the first-team last season but did captain the reserves to a regional league title and a cup final, leading to him penning a new contract over the summer.
