NEIL Young believes the visit to Workington on Saturday (3pm) will be one of the toughest away trips his Chester FC side will face this season.

The Blues were pushed all the way by the West Cumbrians when the teams met at the Exacta Stadium in the opening week of the season.

A solitary Ben Mills strike separated the sides and Young is in no doubt the table-toppers are in for another tough afternoon when they face the Reds.

The Chester manager said: “Workington away is as tough as they come. They’ve had a good season and we saw what you get when we played them at our place – they don’t leave anything out on the pitch.

“It will be one of our most difficult away days.

“Just playing Chester before Christmas will give them a lift.

“They’ll have a big crowd but we’ve got to try and get another win in what is a very important week for us.”

The Blues played host to Harrogate Town last night after The Chronicle had gone to press.

They return to the Exacta Stadium on Boxing Day when they entertain Droylsden (3pm).

Chester striker Mills said: “We’ve got to go into every single game with the mentality that it’s win at all costs. We need to be putting points on the board no matter who we’re up against.”
