Altrincham have confirmed segregation will be in force for this weekend's FA Cup fourth qualifying round clash with Chester FC.
Visiting supporters will be housed on the open Hale End Terrace behind the goal for the game at Moss Lane on Saturday (3pm).
However, the Robins have promised that in the event of bad weather covered accommodation will be made available.
Some Chester fans were unhappy at their treatment on the club's last visit to Altrincham on New Year's Day, which ended in a miserable 4-1 defeat.
On that occasion, heavy rain soaked the supporters on the open terrace and it took until around 30 minutes into the game for the covered section to be opened.
Altrincham's statement reads: "Due to the number of enquiries that we and Chester FC have had concerning segregation for Saturday's FA Cup fixture, we would like to state that, following a meeting between the club and the local police, due to the numbers predicted to travel, the Chester fans will be housed in the normal away terracing but covered accommodation will be made available to travelling fans if inclement weather conditions are predicted or occur."
Chester fans wanting to sit for the game will be housed in the Main Stand.
