Here's how Chester FCreporter Jim Green rated the performance in the 3-1 win over Dover Athletic on Saturday .

Jon Worsnop 7: Far less exposed than he has been in the past few weeks and had just a couple of routine saves to make. Could do nothing about Dover's goal and a spectator for the majority of the second-half.

Ryan Higgins 7: Much more like his usual self after a couple of quite games. Dover's main threat came down the right so he didn't have a lot to contend with in truth. Not far wide with a fizzing strike from distance in the first-half.

Ben Heneghan 8: Escaped an own goal when his attempted clearance struck the crossbar but otherwise pretty much faultless. Another excellent performance from a player who has stacks of potential.

Kieran Charnock 7: Brought back into the side after injuries to Matty Brown and Michael Kay and did a good job on the whole. Got caught out for the goal and in the second-half when he was fortunate not to be booked for a trademark pull back but a decent showing.

Gareth Roberts 7: Had his hands full in the first-half with Ricky Modeste but managed to keep him in check for the most part and grew into the game with a solid second-half. Can understand why the manager wants him to continue next season.

Craig Mahon 7: Started on the left, switched to the right and then back to the left. Effective wherever he pops up and a real pain in the backside for his opponents. Looking forward to watching him continue to improve next season.

John Rooney 8: An overdue reminder of what he can bring to the table. Close on a couple of occasions from long range, proved he can take corners when he put one right on Craig Hobson's head and his goal demonstrated his quality on the ball.

Brad Abbott 7: Struggled in the first-half with too many wayward passes and heavy touches but much better after the break and teamed up well with Rooney in the middle of the park.

Matty Hughes 7: His second loan spell has been pretty frustrating but the pace, skill and direct running returned in the second-half. Created the equaliser and gave both full-backs a lot to think about.

Oliver McBurnie 7: Got himself on the scoresheet again, albeit with a massive helping hand from Whites keeper Mitch Walker. Linked up well with Craig Hobson and gave his team a platform to work off so can be satisfied with his work once again.

Craig Hobson 8: Came in from the cold and produced arguably his best performance of the season. A fantastic header for his goal, had another ruled out for offside and was a thorn in the side of Dover's back four from start to finish.

Substitutes

Tom Peers 5: Limited time to make an impact so will be hoping for another chance in the final two games.

Peter Winn 5: Came on for the final few minutes. Loses a mark for his shocking haircut.
