SHAUN Kelly’s proposed move to League Two side Burton Albion has been referred to football’s world governing body Fifa.

The FA has passed the case on as Kelly, who filed a 14-day notice of breach of contract against Chester City, only became a free agent after the January transfer window had closed.

This made him ineligible for transfer until the summer but Brewers boss Paul Peschisolido is pushing for special dispensation due to the situation surrounding the Blues, who were wound-up last week.

Meanwhile, keeper John Danby and former City captain Tim Ryan have dropped into Blue Square North.

Danby has joined Eastwood Town and Ryan has rejoined former Blues boss Jim Harvey at Stalybridge Celtic.
