JUNIOR Blues, the young supporters’ group which has been relaunched by City Fans United, took members to Preston North End’s Deepdale ground to visit the National Football Museum.
Decked out in Junior Blues T-shirts, the youngsters saw exhibits showing various landmarks reached by the beautiful game and took part in a number of interactive football activities from painting to a penalty shoot-out.
Member Joel Roddy even wrote to the Junior Blues committee afterwards to say he enjoyed a question and answer session on the day.
The day ended with each member receiving a gift when they got back to Chester.
This was the first planned outing of the Junior Blues and the membership of the group is now close to 120.
