Railway (Jake Harrison 2, Paddy Bleakley, Nick Brookman) shaded a 4-3 thriller at Crossway (Steve Gore, Phil Goff, Danny Brown) on Saturday as top-flight rivals Kelsall (Richy Edwards 3, Sean Page, Adam Crimes, John Devonport, Edward Lenny) swept aside lower-division hosts Barrow Athletic (Tom Wilkinson, Jamie Parry) 7-2.

Frodsham Vets broke their Olympic Trophies Division One duck with a 6-2 success at Duddon United (Rob Lawton, Kev Rogerson).

Chester Nomads 3rds won 5-1 at Levers Athletic.

In Concorde Trophies Section A, Dee Rangers (Chris Heyes 3, Chris Brookes, Dan Riley, Tom Arnold) edged a see-saw game at home to Western Rangers (Peter Murphy 3, Richie Deponeo) 6-4. FC Blacon (Scott Chard) won 1-0 at home to Watergates.

It finished 2-2 between AFC Lache (Jamie Kelly, Peter O’Toole) and AFC Hilton (Tim Hughes, Dave Watts) in Chester Chronicle Section B.
