BLUES chairman Stephen Vaughan has been charged with violent conduct by the FA.

The charge is in relation to a tunnel incident following Chester's controversial derby at Shrewsbury Town on November 25.

Vaughan, who has until December 21 to respond, intends to defend himself 'vigorously'.

Chester and Shrewsbury were also charged with failing to ensure their players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion in relation to two mass brawls during and following the same game.
