BT Sport have selected the FA Cup second round replay between Chester FC and Barnsley for live coverage.

After a goalless draw at Oakwell on Sunday, the rematch will take place at the Swansway Chester Stadium on Tuesday, December 16 (7.45pm).

Both clubs will receive £36,000 in television revenue from the FA and the winners will collect another £27,000 in prize money.

Chester's run in the competition has already netted them £30,500 in prize money, £12,500 for Sunday's game featuring on BBC Final Score and shares of a 4,621 gate at Stockport County, the 4,047 crowd at Southend United and the 7,227 attendance at Barnsley.

Tykes boss Danny Wilson admitted his side were lucky to avoid an upset in the first meeting but with the Blues unbeaten in eight home matches, Steve Burr and his squad will be confident of finishing the job next week.

A plum tie in tonight's third round draw would add even further interest to the replay.

There will be 64 balls in the hat tonight as all Premier League and Championship clubs enter the competition for the first time this season.

Former England captain Alan Shearer and grassroots volunteer Paul Adamson will be pulling out the numbers for the draw, which will be shown live on BBC Two from 7pm.

Chester and Barnsley will be ball number 58, and will be hoping to land a money-spinning tie with one of the Premier League powerhouses.

Burr said: "It would be great to pull a big one out but I'm sure that Barnsley will be looking for the same as well and there's a lot of football left in this tie."

Numbers to note are Arsenal (2), Chelsea (13), Liverpool (23), Manchester City (24), Manchester United (25) and arch rivals Wrexham (47).
