CHESTER City’s youth team outclassed Wrexham, winning 3-0 at the Airfield in Broughton in the Puma Youth Alliance derby.

City opened the scoring within 13 minutes of when Ryan Williams showed determination to score the opener.

Williams intercepted the ball and caught the Wrexham keeper all at sea to score having cooly rounded him to bag his goal.

The young Blues bagged a second in the 23rd minute. A loose ball was eventually headed goalwards by Jack Rowlands to double the advantage.

City’s third was delightfully taken by Kieren Morrin who gymnastically spun to fire the ball the ball into the net at the close of the first half.

Boss Simon Davies felt aggrieved that the Blues didn’t get a penalty in the 55th minute after Andy Thorpe was felled by the Wrexham keeper.
