LEGENDARY Anfield goalkeeper Elisha Scott is being honoured with a special hour-long documentary on LFC TV.

It’s 100 years since the former Ireland shot-stopper made his Reds debut and ‘Lisha – The First King Of The Kop’ looks back on his remarkable 22-year Anfield career.

The documentary is packed with anecdotes from those most qualified to talk about him, previously unseen photos taken from his personal scrapbooks and some rare archive footage of the great man in action.

It explains how he was able to forge such a special relationship with the Kop, his famous rivalry with Everton goal-scoring legend Dixie Dean and why grown men wept on the day Scott left Liverpool.

It aired for the first time last night and will be repeated tonight at 9pm and tomorrow at 11pm.
