John will be speaking with Chris McLoughlin, author of the recently-published book, at 6pm tonight.
Chris, the editor of The Kop fanzine, will be discussing how he compiled the book, using archives from the great man’s own Liverpool ECHO column.
Shankly took to the pages of this paper in the summer of 1962, to outline his plans for the club.
Liverpool had just won promotion from the old Second Division at the time.
