Chester boosted their Conference survival prospects with a 3-0 victory over Telford.

They were grateful to goalkeeper Wayne Brown for brilliantly keeping out Mark Quayle's ninth-minute volley before taking the lead.

Striker Lee Woodyatt headed home Paul Carden's left-wing cross after 26 minutes to register his first goal for the club.

Brown twice more frustrated Telford by keeping out another Quayle effort and then Jim Bentley's header moments before half-time.

Mark Beesley sealed victory for Chester with two second-half goals.
