WITTON Albion boss Jim Vince is furious with striker Mike Moseley, who was sent off at Telford on Monday (see report on page 63).

'I am really ticked off with him. He kicked out at somebody off the ball. It wasn't vicious, but he had to go - and he's an experienced player.

'With 11 men we would have won. We outplayed them, but the extra man told. I am not happy.'

Witton lost 3-1. Moseley will serve a three-match ban but should lead the forwards out at home on Saturday against Kendal Town, a game, says Vince, Witton will win.

'Definitely. With the players we've got and the way we are playing, we should be going into games thinking we will win.'

Vince is boosted by the return of Shaun Whalley, after suspension and after various injuries, Steve Connors, Liam Brownhill, Carl Frost and Chris Adams, while Griff Jones will need another week to recover from his knee injury.

Given the injury crisis, Vince said before the season he would be happy with seven points from the first 12, which is exactly what Witton have. Kendal have a point more and Matlock, their hosts on Tuesday, are another point better off still.

Witton have appointed Emma Griffiths as physio and she is to run a sports therapy clinic at Wincham Park. Further details are available from her on 07951 180189.
