BIG-HITTERS Andy Hayes and Dave France helped HASLINGTON to their fourth successive win at Clay Lane on Saturday.

The in-form pair finished off the job started by Gary Davies, who took 6-43 as Ellesmere Port 2nds were all out for 152. Anthony Jarvis (29) top-scored for Port.

In Haslington's reply, Hayes (81no) and France (62) put on 133 for the first wicket. Jonny Phipps (4no) contributed as the Squirrels raced home with 153-1 in just 20.3 overs, and moved up to second in Division Three.

AUDLEM suffered an eight-wicket defeat to visitors Eastham, after batting first and posting 181-5 (T Measures 44no). Eastham won with 186-4.

BU N BU RY beat HOLMES CHAPEL by seven wickets to go top of Division One. Chapel were bowled out for 98 (N Hind 43) and Bunbury won with 101-3 (Ben Camber 50no).

SANDBACH went down by 121 runs at Stalybridge St Pauls, who batted first and helped themselves to 273-4. Sandbach made a good attempt, but were eventually all out for 155 (Dan Taylor 39no, Dave Nolan 20).

ASTON beat Port Sunlight by 53 runs to continue their upturn in form. Batting first, Derek Wright (27) and Chris Beesley (41) put on 60 for the first wicket, and Neil Goodwin (39) and Will Dawson (27) saw the home side to 172-9 from their 48 overs.

Sunlight lost early wickets with Neil Goodwin (5-37) and Andy Leese (2-13) combining to dismiss both openers without score. Sunlight were eventually all out for 119 (Simon Bishop 2-16).

* Haslington 2nds recorded a nine-wicket win at Kerridge when Tom Coppenhall (3-21) and Sam Trevor (3-26) reduced the home side to 81 all out. Haslington eased to victory on 84-1 (Matt Shorthouse 29no, Rob Coombes 26, Jamie Black-wood 24no).
