THE all-round talents of Australian Steve Paulsen led Nantwich to a five-wicket victory over Toft on Saturday in the CD Bramall Trucks League ECB Premier Division.
Aussie ace Paulsen produced his fourth century of the season with an unbeaten 109 to pilot the Dabbers home in less than 30 overs after tea.
With two innings remaining before he returns to join the Queensland senior squad back in Australia, Paulsen now has 902 league runs.
Adam Carolan's 33 helped Toft to 161 and Paulsen's 4-46, was joined by an impressive 4-58 by Chris Hampshire.
The Dabbers are now in sixth position in the table.
In Division One, Alsager succumbed to a nine-wicket demolition by Didsbury, who restricted them to 169.
For Alsager, Paul Tibbetts and Steve Armitage both posted 38, and Brendan McDonald bowled 4-42. A fine unbeaten 85 by Marcus Fisher and 66 to Trevor Gane, both of whom have enjoyed a good season, saw Didsbury coast home at 173-1 in reply.
* In the Meller Braggins Division One, Cholmondeley took six points from their match with Marple. Marple had declared on 220-6 and Cholmondeley replied with 143-9.
In Division Three Holmes Chapel (163-9dec) remain bottom despite a rare victory against Lindow (151ao).
