CHESHIRE have been forced to make changes for their next MCCA Championship match away to Dorset at Dean Park (July 4-6).

Skipper Andy Hall misses out through injury again and opening bowler Adam Syddall (shoulder) is also out.

Hyde bowler Rob Woolley gets the chance in place of Bowdon left-armer Syddall, while Oulton Park batsman Rick Moore is added to the squad.

Oulton Park all-rounder Nathan Dumelow will captain the side again in Hall’s absence.

In Division One of the Cheshire Women’s League, OAKMERE went down to a five-wicket loss to in-form leaders Appleton on Sunday. Despite 39no from Emily Harrison, Oakmere managed only 127-6. Victory was achieved with nine overs in hand.

Poynton were unable to raise a side for their match at CHESTER BOUGHTON HALL, who are through to the final of the Bramhall Art Centre Knockout Cup.

They beat Oakmere, whose total of 87-7 was overhauled with three balls and seven wickets in hand.
