THE Ollier brothers helped Kingsley out of a potential mess and steered them to an ultimately impressive victory over Cheshire Cricket Alliance newcomers Chelford.

Asked to bat on a typical Kingsley green-top, Chelford struggled against Kingsley's opening bowl-ers.

Adrian Burden was again among the wickets with 4-53. Skipper Weston bludgeoned 42 as the only player to offer real resistance.

Alderman (3-10) and Matty Ollier (3-25) ensured the innings finished on 128.

Following a solid opening partnership, Kingsley's middle order once again wobbled to 62-4.

However, Matty Ollier (42no) and younger brother Jonny added 63 for the fifth wicket to take the home side to the verge of victory, which was sealed with four overs to spare. THE promotion of Coleman to the top of the order proved a masterstroke for Kingsley 2nds at Chelford.

With regular opener Burton in Macclesfield Hospital's A&E after a fielding mishap, Coleman took his chance with a unbeaten, match-winning 52no.

With bowling strength and a grassy wicket, Kingsley hadn't hesitated in asking Chelford to bat.

Wickets fell regularly with only Chelford captain Shiells (38) holding up the visitors.

Good catching again from Kingsley and excellent swing bowling, bringing two wickets each from Oultram and Kitchen, meant Chelford were bowled out for 100.

Young spinner Hendry finished off Chelford with a three-wicket maiden.

Kingsley skipper Ainsworth went early, but Coleman and Ashley put 32 on for the second wicket.

Ashley was harshly given out lbw but lusty blows from Leatherland (31no) and Coleman took Kingsley home in just 20 overs.
