WE started slow against Worcester on Saturday which you simply can’t do against a top side. However, in the second half we showed signs we could still be a strong play-off team.

There are moments were we are very strong offensively and on the break and if we can learn to capitalise on those moments by extending our runs, we’re going to win some games in the upcoming months.

It was good to welcome Nathan into the fold. He fits in very well in terms of team dynamics and he’s a vocal guy with a positive attitude who gives us added athleticism.

After winning the BBL dunk contest, I think he is starting to see the potential in himself, and is looking for ways to expand his skill set and the Jets community should be very excited about his decision to play here.

Already, he gives us great length in our press, added rebounding and size offensively and when Colin O’Reilly is healthy again our height and athleticism is going to bother the league.

At Plymouth on Sunday we gave one of our best performances of the season thus far from an energy and confidence standpoint.

Unfortunately, we didn’t finish the game, which at this stage shouldn’t be happening any more. While it certainly was a frustrating loss, it became evident that we can compete with any unit any other organisation puts on the floor.

Adam was a general and from a basketball perspective stepped up as a leader.

Any time a player rebounds from the injury he had in Worcester, puts on his boots and plays despite the pain, the team is going to rally around them.
