JETS’ under 16s girls team savoured an impressive derby victory over Everton Tigers.
They triumphed by a mammoth 124-14 margin at The Hub in Ellesmere Port.
Abbie O’Brien was top-scorer with 35 points, but there were good contributions from all around the court. Claire Perry chipped in with 21 points and Zoe Brutton claimed a solid 16.
Jets U16 boys bounced back from a disappointing game against Northants Thunder the previous week to beat Newcastle Eagles.
The Cheshire boys ran out 74-33 winners in a match played at Stanney Oaks Leisure Centre in Ellesmere Port.
Jets’ women’s team have also been in action.
They travelled to the Westgate Centre for Sport in Newcastle to take on Northumbria and went down 86-46.
The visiting team’s highest scorer was Abbie O’Brien with 15 points.
Jets will be hoping to impress more when they face Stockport Falcons at the Stockport Ball Hall on Saturday, November 7.
