Cheshire Phoenix have confirmed the capture of US forward Josh Fox.

Fox graduated this summer from NCAA Division One school UC Davis, where he averaged 15 points and seven rebounds per game, earning him a place in the All-Big West second Team for the 15/16 season.

The 6’6 forward was raised in the United States but was born in Fiji and is part of the Fijian national team.

He becomes head coach Colin O’Reilly’s final import player of his new look Phoenix team following the signings of Earl Brown and Marcel Mosley.

Said O'Reilly: “In Josh we have signed a real hard nosed competitor which we feel fits in with the identity we are trying to build from day one of pre season.

"Josh brings great versatility for our line up where we can use him in numerous positions on both ends of the floor. He has a skill set that fits well with the league and will be a player that the fans take to immediately on and off the court.”

Fox will make his home debut in the pre-season friendly on September 18 where they host USA team Ballers Beyond Heaven. Tip off is at 5:30pm at Cheshire Oaks Arena.
