Youngsters at Woodfall Primary School have been out shopping.

The children visited Sainsbury’s in Neston as part of their RotaKids (Rotary International) project.

They bought food for the food bank of Neston with money raised at their Purple Day. They will also be donating a cheque for £110 to the food bank.

A spokesman from the school said: “We would like to thank Louise from Sainsbury's for making the experience for the children whilst we were at Sainsbury's memorable and for the giftcard they donated for us to buy more food.

“We would also like to thank Louise for kindly arranging goodie bags for all the children.”
