Taylor Wimpey North West has contributed to the furnishing of the new building extension at Tarvin Pre-School and Day Nursery.

The pre-school, which is close to the developer’s Saxon Heath housing scheme, has installed a new kitchen area, including a new fridge, as well as a new outdoor playing area for the children.

Nursery manager at Tarvin Pre-School and Day Nursery Lyn Jackson explained: “Thanks to the generosity of local businesses, the local authority, parents, staff and children, our new building is complete.”

The full scope of the renovation works includes an extension to the existing primary school, providing five new classrooms and a new nursery building.

Sales manager at Taylor Wimpey North West Stuart Craig added: “As a responsible homebuilder with a commitment to helping community causes, we wanted to help make a contribution towards the great work that has been done at Tarvin Pre-School this year.

“Seeing the difference this will make to the school is a brilliant and, with a number of families living at our Saxon Heath development, it’s lovely to think that they may be using the facilities for themselves one day.

Saxon Heath, located on Tarporley Road, in Tarvin, has a number of family-style properties available, set in the heart of the historic Cheshire village.

Lyn concluded: “A huge thanks to Taylor Wimpey for its supporting role in our renovations.

“The new kitchen area is ideal for preparing healthy break snacks for our pupils, and the new white goods and preparation area make the perfect place for a little impromptu baking, which always goes down a treat with the children.”
