Parkgate Primary School Rotakids presented a cheque for £277 to Cancer Research UK last Friday.

The children raised the money by holding a coffee morning and cake sale.

The main committee plus the oldest and youngest pupils in the school made the presentation to Stephanie from Cancer Research UK during their Achievement Assembly.

The children were awarded a certificate from Cancer Research UK for their fundraising.

Next week, the pupils are beginning their first fundraiser for the Send All My Friends to school campaign.

They have a giant teddy bear that children will try to name and will be charging 50p per name.

Rotakids from Neston Primary School have also been fundraising and raised £82.50 for the Polio Eradication Programme by selling pots of crocus plants which they had grown themselves.
