Guests with be tasked with a tough mission of battling with the scary monsters that roam the darkness at Hallowe’en only retrieving hidden magic scrolls that will unlock the treasure and banish the monsters will keep the valley safe – at least until next Hallowe’en.

Local member Cllr Diane Roberts said: “Hallowe’en is always popular with children across the world and this event promises to provide fun and mystery for all who take part.

“Hallowe’en is an old annual event with great history. The ancient Celts believed that the border between this world and the ‘otherworld’ became thin on Hallowe’en – allowing spirits to pass through.

“To protect themselves from any harmful spirits people began to wear costumes and masks.

“I would encourage everyone to wrap up warm and take part in a night promising to be full of adventure with Rivacre Valley’s park rangers.”

The event is suitable for all ages, so bring the family along to one of five walks taking place throughout the evening. Booking is essential.
