WITH Wycombe losing their last three away games and having both regular full-backs suspended, it might by wise for Wrexham to go on the attack at home to the Chairboys on Saturday (kickoff 3pm).

Losses at Oldham, Stoke and QPR have also seen four players dismissed on Wycombe's travels and could point to the fact that the Adams Park side don't like it up 'em away from Buckinghamshire.

Lawrie Sanchez's side have been consistent at home, where they demolished Wrexham 5-2 earlier in the season, and this form means they are still hovering near a play-off zone.

But recent indiscipline means full-backs Danny Senda and Chris Vinnicombe, as well as striker Paul Emblem, are suspended as Wycombe hope to build on Tuesday's 2-2 FA Cup draw with Premiership big spenders Fulham.

The suspensions could see Sanchez go with a 3-5-2 formation which will mean that last year s FA Cup hero Martin Taylor is in goal. He was outstanding against Liverpool in the semi-final and has continued to cement his reputation as one of the most consistent keepers in Division Two.

Defensively Wycombe could be struggling. Definitely playing will be Jason Cousins and Canadian international Mark Rogers, who was signed while backpacking around Europe, during which time he stopped off for a trial at Adams Park! But Paul McCarthy is struggling after the Fulham match and may be replaced by midfielder Dave Carroll.

If Sanchez does decide to pack the midfield, youngster Dannie Bulman will be prominent. Signed from Ashford Town, Bulman is energetic and gets his fair share of tackles in.

The midfield lynchpin is Steve Brown who, despite his 34 years, is still an important player since joining from Northampton.

Michael Simpson is another hard working midfielder, but its out on the wings that W ycombe have their flair players.

Darren Currie, once a Wrexham target, has been a revelation since signing from Barnet, and on the left side is Welsh under-21 international Stuart Roberts who earned rave reviews at Swansea last season.

Up front should be Andy Rammell if he recovers from a knock picked up on Tuesday, if not Gavin Holligan will step in. Dangerman Jermaine McSporran will start; the pacey player was especially prominent in the 2-2 draw with Fulham.

Wrexham face a long trip to Carmarthen in the FAW Premier Cup quarterfinals on Tuesday. Currently seventh in the League of Wales table, Carmarthen Town have three games in hand on leaders TNS that could take them to the top of the table.

Players to look out for include Darren Barnhouse, a big centre-half who has league experience with Swansea.
