Whitby High School teacher Mike Royden writes book about Liverpool and genealogy

A WHITBY High School teacher is inviting readers to trace their family tree in his new book.

Mike Royden, a well-known author who recently relocated from Liverpool to Farndon, near Chester, hopes that Tracing Your Liverpool Ancestors will be a big hit with the Cheshire and Merseyside public.

But rather than just being a guide to genealogy, Mike, who teaches at Whitby High School, has included a history of the city itself, including sections on shipbuilding, estates, public health, housing and migration.
