A MEN’S outfitters is riding high despite the national credit crunch.

As T.M. Lewin celebrates its 110th anniversary, the company, which has an outlet on Cheshire Oaks, is celebrating its growing sales figures.

Last year, its national sales totalled £63.5m, which produced a 21% increase in earnings to £11m. The business is already £1m ahead for the year.

T.M. Lewin’s Cheshire Oaks store assistant manager Angela Jones said: “We have been open here since February 2006 and trade just keeps getting better and better. We have not felt any effect of the economic slowdown at all.”
