A FORMER Leftwich High School pupil has pocketed a tasty £10,000 and could be in line for major windfall after helping Walkers launch a new bite.

Victoria Howard, 21, of Antrobus, has made the final six in a nationwide competition to help the company find a new crisp as part of its Do us a Flavour campaign.

And you can help her beat the credit crunch by voting for Crispy Duck & Hoisin. If successful, Victoria will win another £50,000 and pick up 1% of future sales of her flavour.

She said: “Crispy Duck & Hoisin has been a long-time coming. It’s a favourite Chinese dish, so hopefully it will be everyone’s favourite crisp too.”

The other five final flavours are Chilli & Chocolate, Fish & Chips, Onion Bhaji, Cajun Squirrel and Builder’s Breakfast. The flavours are all available now for a trial period, and members of the public will decide the winner with a text vote until May 1.
