A SPORTS car has been donated to West Cheshire College to be used in the motor vehicle workshop.

Vauxhall Motors gave one of their pre-production cars to the Chester-based facility.

The VX220 two-seater sports car was previously used by Vauxhall for testing purposes.

It will now be used by the college’s students to further enhance their practical and technical skills.

The college delivers Vauxhall’s successful engineering apprenticeship programme and was selected to receive the car in recognition of the strong links that exist between the two organisations.
