Holy Ascension Church in Upton held a 12 hour musicathon for the Erin Cross Appeal.
Musicians from Cheshire and North Wales provided 12 continuous hours of great music from 8am to 8pm.
There were organists, pianists, singers, jazz musicians, members of Chester Operatic Society, Scope Choir, Chester Handbell Ringers, Upton Junior Choir, Upton Community Choir, Holy Ascension Parish Choir, violinists, brass players, an oboist, saxophonists, a sponsored hymn sing and a special edition of Musical Tots.
The event raised a fantastic £1,200 for the appeal to help little Erin from Upton, who turns six this week and is battling leukaemia, and organisers would like to thank everyone who took part, came to listen and donated so generously.
