REMEMBRANCE: Flt Sgt Andrew Buckley of the 146 Squadron lays a wreath at the cenotaph in Church Road, Northwich to mark the 90th anniversary of The Armistice.The wreath was laid on behalf of the Air Cadets on Sunday, in memory of the men and women who gave their lives for their country. This year’s Northwich remembrance service took place at St Helen’s Church (Northwich Parish Church) at 9.45am on Sunday, and was followed by a service at cenotaph.The Winsford service took place at 10.45am at the town centre cenotaph, and was conducted by the town mayor’s chaplain, Rev David Wilson.Soldiers from the 1 Mercian (Cheshire) Regiment joined the congregation and town mayor Cllr Des Worthington, and Vale Royal mayor Cllr Malcolm Gaskill both laid wreaths.
