Police are urging Farndon residents to be aware of thieves stealing glass from car wing mirrors.
A total of 10 reports of this nature have been reported to officers since July, with three happening last week alone.
PC Dave Walton from Cheshire police said there appears to be no pattern in relation to the type and make of vehicles being targeted “We would ask for people in the area to be vigilant, not only for people stealing from vehicles but of those walking round the area perhaps carrying wing mirrors,” he said.
“Please report any suspicious people or information as to who is responsible or why to Cheshire police on 101.”
