TWO high school pupils have been chosen to receive the Diana Award for their outstanding commitment.
Theo Ainsworth and Rebecca Bebbington, respectively in Year 9 and Year 10 at Ellesmere Port Specialist School of Performing Arts (EPSSPA), have shown inspirational qualities over the year.
The Diana Award is a legacy to the late Princess which celebrates the outstanding contributions made by young people to schools and communities.
It is given to those young people nominated for youth participation or volunteering, selfless service to others and showing outstanding qualities in overcoming adverse circumstances.
Schools and organisations in the UK annually nominate one young person or a group of young people for the award.
An EPSSPA spokesman said: “We are very proud of Theo and Rebecca and are looking forward to the hard choice of selecting other pupils to nominate for next years award.”
