STUDENTS at Mid-Cheshire College produced their own version of hit TV show Britain’s Got Talent to raise money for their chosen charity.

Performances included 18-year-old Scott Yates from Winsford playing guitar and singing, 17-year-old singer Jonathan Wilson and stand-up comedian Doug Plumpton, 16, from Northwich.

“Students and staff were charged a 50p entrance fee and almost £100 was raised for the college charity ASAP – African Support and Assistance Project,” said Jenny White, Student Services Officer.

“The total fund now stands at almost £19,000.”
