SIXTIES band Herman’s Hermits will bring back the swinging decade for the night when they play in Ellesmere Port next month.

Back in the mid-1960s, the music scene was dominated by British acts whowhich became household names.

These included The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and Herman’s Hermits, who, since making their debut in 1964, have chalked up more than 23 hit singles, 10 hit albums, three major movies and countless television shows and concert tours all over the world.

On August 9, the band will be performing their best known songs, including I’m Into Something Good, to audiences at Whitby Sports & Social Club.

Since lead singer Peter Noone left the band in 1971, the remaining members have continued going strong, averaging more than 200 gigs each year.
