THE Grange Community Group was recently set up by residents of the Grange who want to improve the area in which they live.
They have so far set up a youth club in The Lunch Box Café in Regent Street and are planning a Hallowe’en party on Saturday, October 30 at Flatt Lane Community Centre.
The residents would like some improvements made to the green space on the corner of Atherton Road and Princes Road and invited everyone in the area to attend a meeting at The Acorns Primary School last Thursday.
Some of the best suggestions discussed as to what to bring to the space included a seated area, a fence around the space and some raised flower beds.
