WREXHAM rounded off the North Wales under-21 tournament with a 3-0 win over Juventus at a rain-swept Racecourse yesterday.

The Italians finished bottom, having also lost to Manchester City and Aston Villa.

Gareth Williams's smart turn and shot put Wrexham on their way after Juventus came closest to a first-half goal when Dutch youth international Sergio De Windt grazed the bar.

David Walsh, Wrexham's Wales Under-21 international goalkeeper, made a superb save from Alex Pederzoli.

Williams's touch of magic gave Wrexham the breakthrough five minutes into the second period. Matthew Dabbs and Williams (penalty) made it 3-0.
