RAIDERS smashed and cut their way into two business premises on the same night.
They forced the roller-shutter doors of one firm in North Road, Ellesmere Port using a trolley jack before entering and smashing the alarm system.
The gang then used cutting equipment to make a hole in the roller shutters of a neighbouring building, in which they stole power tools.
Both crimes happened between 4pm on Saturday, December 8 and 7.50am on Monday, December 10.
A crook wearing a dark hoodie poked a hook and cane through the letterbox to try and steal keys from a house in Stanney Lane, Ellesmere Port at 9.50pm on Monday, December 10. The would-be thief was disturbed by the owner and fled empty-handed.
Yobs forced open the front door of a car parked at a pub in Chester Road, Little Sutton between 11pm on Friday and 3.52am on Saturday, and lit a fire inside. This caused both internal and external damage.
Meanwhile, a car stolen between 9.10pm on Friday and 3.59am on Saturday from Baker Drive, Great Sutton was later found dumped in the field opposite, completely burnt out.
And a scooter became a write-off after being stolen from Sutton Way, Whitby at 9.15pm on Saturday and torched on a nearby grassed area.
Thieves stole a motorbike from Princes Road, Ellesmere Port before dumping it 50ft away; took three mountain bikes and two sets of golf clubs from Sycamore Drive, Whitby and cut the chains holding a generator down in Mill Lane, Willaston before stealing it, all on December 9; took tools from a garage in Wilmslow Drive, Great Sutton on December 10; took a child’s mountain bike from Mallory Road, Ellesmere Port and stole handbags from cars in Chester Road, Childer Thornton and Hadlow Road, Willaston, all on December 11; stole a garden vac leaf blower from Manor Villas, The Village, Burton in the early hours of Wednesday; took a sat nav from a car in Longlooms Road, Ellesmere Port on Thursday lunchtime; took a motorbike from Festival Road, Ellesmere Port on Thursday afternoon; took a drill from a Transit van at Thornton Hall Hotel, Chester Road, Childer Thornton on Thursday night; and stole numberplates from a car in Gawsworth Road, Great Sutton on Friday night, which were later found by police.
