YALE College bosses were proud to learn of the dedication of students who collected for the 2008 Poppy Appeal in Wrexham town centre.
Students will be recognised at the Lord Lieutenant’s Awards.
Kevin Forbes, community fundraiser for the British Legion, has praised students for their work in collecting almost £600.
He said: “The good work and public spirited nature of the students is tremendous.”
“We are very proud of them,” added Alan Lowry, programme co-ordinator for public services courses at the college.
