MARGO Burrows gets involved in a number of activities with a wide variety of people.
To recognise her services to the community, she received the Our Place Community Volunteer Award from the Mayor of Ellesmere Port, Cllr Angela Claydon.
Generally known as a ‘good egg’, Margo’s voluntary work includes:
Delivering, among many activities, gentle exercise for people with restricted movement at The Links Healthy Living Centre.
The church, in which she has an extremely active role.
A soup kitchen in which she was instrumental in setting up – to help feed the less fortunate.
And working with young people to create opportunities for them in the Westminster area.
