A NESTON couple who launched their own health centre last year will hold an open day later this month.

Roger Barlow and Karin Daelemans unveiled Birch Tree Health Centre in Neston last November and offer a range of services, including physical therapy, sports massage and personal training.

On January 31 they will open the centre up to the public to sample free mini-sessions, advice, consultations and mini-treatments.

For Karin and Roger, opening Birch Tree Health has been ‘a dream’ of theirs for years.

Roger said: “Luckily the right opportunities have fallen into place to make this a reality and I’m very grateful for the welcome local residents have given the centre.

“My wife is a respected physiotherapist of many years, with experience in the NHS, BUPA and abroad whereas my background is in engineering and project management, though I am also passionate about sports massage.”

The practice specialises in general physiotherapy management, acupuncture for pain relief, sport injury conditions, fitness optimisation and reflexology. It also has its own gymnasium free to use during sessions.

All are invited to the open day on Thursday, January 31, between 3pm and 8pm at the centre on Liverpool Road, which will feature taster sessions, mini-workouts, body weight and body composition assessments and lots of friendly advice. Visitors can take advantage of discounts for bookings made on the day.
