TWO Northwich students have taken the first steps to building their own business empire by launching a clothing company.

Will Cotterill, who studies graphic design at Mid-Cheshire College, and Laurence Norman, who is a business and graphics student at St Nicholas High School sixth form, have created their own line of clothing, Go Nature Go.

The entrepreneurial duo wanted to form a business that benefits to Fairtrade companies and links in with the theme of nature.

Sixteen-year-old Will, from Hartford, said: “We initially had the idea to create clothing from natural materials that is anti-sweat-shop based.”

The pair began their project in September last year and have taken their first order.

Laurence, 18, from Anderton said: “We researched a lot of companies for screen printing and managed to make a good deal.”

The students also sponsor local band Thought Explode, who wear their T-shirts on stage.
