NOMINATIONS are now open for the Cheshire West and Chester Council Sports Awards.
Residents can nominate individuals and clubs in the following categories:
Club of the Year (2 winners).
Male and Female Coach of the Year.
Male and Female Junior Sports Achiever of the Year.
Male and Female Disabled Sports Achiever of the Year.
Male and Female Volunteer of the Year.
Male and Female Young Volunteer of the Year.
Male and Female Special Recognition Award.
Cllr Stuart Parker, executive member for culture and recreation, said: “The annual sports awards look to celebrate the very best of sporting talent and dedication across Cheshire West and Chester.
“The winners will be announced on October 14 at a ceremony in Northwich.”
